This legal study on the 1978 Constitution and the Spanish coastline is a current approach to our coasts, their regulation and problems from an open perspective. A documented reflection on our legislative history, the changes produced with the entry into force of art. 132, its current relevance and the complex distribution of powers in a strongly decentralised State. Furthermore, we will analyse the effects of climate change and the problematic situation of private enclaves, the solutions contained in the main legal texts on the subject, the rulings of the most important courts of justice and the recommendations made by the European Union.
