Resumen del libro
This is a narrative, with serious pretensions I would say, in the format of a small essay on the origins of Christianity and the Patrimonium Petri (Heritage of Saint Peter) in Rome. Such themes are so complicated in themselves that I’ve tried to simplify as much as possible so that the reader derives enough information, without the need for a doctoral thesis, to visualise how, over the centuries, that heritage became a state that has lasted over a thousand years.
Inevitably, the characters that I shall now introduce to you, dwell on the subject of Protestantism, which I’ve included in different moments, although much later than the narrative’s central theme.
