In this book, we analyze the implications of new technologies, in Public Administration. This context, we assess the e-government and e-partic-ipation strategies at local, regional and national levels within Europe, being the local case studies the partners of the Interreg E-Prodat project. Specially, we take in account the data protection aspects, being this a key point in the e-government and e-participation systems. Relevant information was extracted by simple statistical analysis, with which we create several technological indexes to evaluate how ready are European Administration to this new phenomenon.
