Este trabajo analiza, desde la perspectiva constitucional de igualdad entre hombres y mujeres, la educación física, tal y como se imparte en las distintas etapas educativas. Se trata de un análisis descriptivo de la situación de las escolares, universitarias y profesoras de educación física.  Se estudian las barreras con que se encuentran las escolares y los correspondiente instrumentos jurídicos disponibles y se observa cómo la situación de desigualdad continúa en la época universitaria. Se analiza la formación que recibe el profesorado en perspectiva de género sobre la educación física, para concluir que es totalmente insuficiente. El trabajo finaliza con una referencia a la profunda brecha de género existente, también, entre especialistas en docencia deportiva.

This paper analyzes, from the constitutional perspective of equality between men and women, physical education, as it is taught in the different educational stages. It is a descriptive analysis of the situation of schoolchildren, university students, and physical education teachers. The barriers faced by schoolchildren and the corresponding available legal instruments are studied and the situation of inequality continues in the university step. The training that teachers receive in gender perspective on physical education is analyzed, to conclude that it is totally insufficient. The research ends with a reference to the deep gender gap that exists, also, between specialists in sports teaching.
