El presente trabajo analiza el concepto de derecho al olvido en el mundo digital, su configuración como derecho fundamental en el sistema constitucional español así como su regulación en la Propuesta de Reglamento del Parlamento Europeo y del Consejo relativo a la protección de las personas físicas en lo que respecta al tratamiento de datos personales y a la libre circulación de estos datos (Reglamento general de protección de datos), elaborada por la Comisión Europea y presentada en enero de 2012.

This paper analyzes the concept of right to be forgotten in the digital world, its configuration as a fundamental right in the Spanish constitutional system and its regulation in the Regulation of the European Parliament and of the Council, on the protection of individuals with regard to the processing of personal data and on the free movement of such data (General Data Protection Regulation), developed by the European Commission presented in January 2012.
