El objeto de este artículo es analizar la relación de los sistemas americanos y europeos de protección de los derechos humanos y su influencia en la jurisprudencia latinoamericana sobre derechos humanos, especialmente en la jurisprudencia argentina. De esta manera determinamos que los sistemas de protección de los derechos humanos pasaron de ser sistemas regionales a convertirse en sistemas globales.

The im of this paper is to review the relation between the American and European systems of protection of human rights. We also analyze how they influence the evolution of the Latin-America’s judicial decisions regarding human rights, especially in Argentina. Our analysis is based on the idea that the protection of human rights started being a regional system and as result of globalization they have transformed into a global system where all the countries are interconnected to reinforce the international protection of human rights.
