Las aplicaciones neurotecnológicas en los seres humanos han provocado la aparición de un discurso cuya principal característica es la demanda de unos nuevos derechos a los que se ha denominado como neuroderechos. Las propuestas se han desarrollado tanto en América como en Europa, y han tenido una buena acogida en la comunidad científica. Pero también se han planteado importantes críticas que de alguna manera obligan a estudiar la consistencia, viabilidad y oportunidad de los neuroderechos. Este trabajo describe las propuestas de neuroderechos y sus principales críticas.

Neurotechnological applications in human beings have led to the appearance of a discourse whose main characteristic is the claim of new rights that have been called neurorights. The proposals have been developed both in America and in Europe, and have been well received by the scientific community. But important criticisms have also been raised that somehow force us to study the consistency, viability and timeliness of neurorights. This work describes the proposals of the neurorights and their main criticisms.
