El artículo aborda la figura del iusfilósofo italiano Norberto Bobbio, tratando de investigar la conexión entre sus ideas filosóficas y las circunstancias políticas, sociales y culturales que le tocó vivir. Especialmente, se aborda la paulatina evolución del pensamiento de Bobbio, que transitó desde la filosofía del derecho a la filosofía política y que, poco a poco, fue incluyendo un filón de investigación en torno a los derechos humanos.

The article is devoted to the italian legal philosopher Norberto Bobbio. Concretely, we will try to illustrate the connection between his philosophical ideas and the political, social and cultural circumstances he went through. In this regard, we will analyze the progressive evolution of Bobbio’s thought, which started in the frame of legal philosophy, but continued mostly in political philosophy and finally included a huge research focus on the history and the nature of human rights.
