Alfonso Zamora Saiz is a professor of Mathematics and Statistics at Universidad CEU-San Pablo in Madrid. He holds a PhD in Mathematics by Universidad Complutense in Madrid, and Bachelor´s Degrees in Mathematics, Physics and Music. He has been a postdoctoral researcher at the Instituto Superior Técnico in Lisbon and a lecturer at California State University. He has visited University of Cambridge and Columbia University as a researcher, given talks and seminars in different institutions of America, Asia and Europe, and published several research papers in pure mathematics. He has also worked as a Quantitative Analyst for the private sector and is co-founder of the Big Data consulting company DataLab Soluciones Matemáticas.
