The present paper deals with the Austrian Criminal Law regulations concerning electronic commerce. A generic approach to the Austrian Computer Crime regulations is taken in the first place. It is followed by the analysis of each criminal figure protecting the electronic commerce, paying special attention to electronic fraud offences and deceptive advertising. Finally, the essay copes with the judicial competence problems that may raise on the subject.
