El presente trabajo tiene como objetivo determinar las implicaciones de la Convención Internacional sobre los Derechos de las Personas con Discapacidad en relación con la privación de la libertad de las personas con discapacidad; analizar la compatibilidad de la legislación española en la materia con este tratado y realizar algunas propuestas para adaptar nuestra normativa a sus exigencias. 

This article aims to study the implications of the Convention on the Rights of Persons with Disabilities in relation to the deprivation of the liberty of persons with disabilities; analyze the compatibility of the Spanish legislation with this treaty and make some proposals to adapt our legislation to their demands.
