Este artículo pone gran cuidado en desligar las teorías organicistas relacionadas con la biología y las metáforas fisiológicas de autores que, como Schelling y Spencer, equiparaban la sociedad a un cuerpo físico o un sistema nervioso, del organicismo krausista de carácter metafísico, donde el hombre ocupa la clave de bóveda de todo su sistema. Se expone cómo el liberalismo krausista es una doctrina distante y contraria a toda imposición totalitaria que suponga una amenaza para la individualidad. Por último, se enseña cómo ese ideal político del organicismo armónico krausista representa una deseable contribución al desarrollo pleno de las capacidades del hombre y por qué el pensamiento político liberal debería interesarse en recuperar dicha noción de comunidad. 

This article puts great attention to separate the organicist theories related to biology, as well as the physiological metaphors of authors who, like Schelling and Spencer, equated society to a physical body or nervous system, from Krausist metaphysical organicism, where man occupies the keystone of the entire system. The article argues how Krausist liberalism is a distant doctrine which is contrary to any totalitarian imposition that may pose a threat to individuality. Finally, it shows how the political ideal of the harmonious Krausist organicism represents a desirable contribution to the full development of human capacities, and why the liberal political thought should be interested in recovering such notion of community.
