En el presente ensayo se trata de rastrear la relación que mantiene Hans Kelsen con el pensamiento de la llamada traditionelle Rechtslehre. Desarrollaremos las críticas que realiza Kelsen a sus antecesores, convirtiéndose así en un heredero ingrato. En el segundo y tercer apartado nos centraremos en la idea kelseniana de pureza, la cual tradicionalmente se ha entendido procedente del influjo de Kant. Aquí defendemos que sus huellas se hallan también en la obra de Carl Friedrich von Gerber. 

This essay traces the relationship between Hans Kelsen and the traditionelle Rechtslehre. We will develop their confrontation, becoming an ungrateful heritor. In the second and third parts, we will focus on Kelsen´s idea of purity, which traditionally has been understood from the influence of Kant. Here we argue that its marks are also found in the work of Carl Friedrich von Gerber.
