El Proceso de Bolonia tiene como objetivo la creación del Espacio Europeo de Educación Superior en 2010. Las tres prioridades del Proceso de Bolonia son: la introducción de un sistema homogéneo con tres ciclos (grado, máster y doctorado), garantizar la calidad de la educación y posibilitar la convalidación de las asignaturas y cursos superados. La Declaración de Bolonia de junio de 1999 supuso el inicio de las reformas pertinentes a fi n de ofrecer un modelo europeo de educación superior que resulte atractivo para el resto del mundo y, en términos prácticos, que pueda aceptar el reto de competir con las Universidades de los Estados Unidos. Para los nuevos planes de estudios españoles, en concreto, para el Grado en Derecho, la reforma se refi ere sobre todo a la metodología docente.

The Bologna Process aims to create a European Higher Education Area by 2010. The three priorities of the Bologna Process are: introduction of a homogeneous three cycle system (bachelor/master/doctorate), quality assurance and recognition of qualifi cations and periods of study. The Bologna Declaration of June 1999 has put in motion a series of reforms needed to make European Higher Education more attractive for Europeans and for students and scholars from other continents. Together with this, reforms are aimed at building a system which, in practical terms, can match the performance of the Universities of United States. The reforms that affect the Spanish Bachelor Degree in Law will be mainly focused on learning methodology.
