La competencia para conocer y resolver en los supuestos de jurisdicción voluntaria se atribuyó a largo de los siglos a distintos operadores jurídicos, en función de la variable posición de éstos en el Ordenamiento, y de la superación de la concepción de la jurisdicción voluntaria 

The competence to hear and resolve cases of voluntary jurisdiction was conferred to different legal operators throughout the centuries, depending on their variable position in the legal system, and on the overcoming concept of voluntary jurisdiction as purely contractual, agreed or peaceful exercise of rights.
