¿Cuál es la tarea del Poder Judicial? Esclarecer los hechos, interpretar y aplicar la Ley y ejecutar la pena con la finalidad de realizar los derechos fundamentales y demostrarnos a todos que efectivamente lo están haciendo. Pues bien, el trabajo se plantea las reformas necesarias para que el Poder Judicial pueda cumplir con sus funciones en un mundo globalizado y para ello se responde a las preguntas que hoy se formulan sobre su efectividad e independencia.

What is the essential task of the judiciary? It is to clarify the facts, to interpret and apply the law, to execute the penalty applying fundamental rights and to prove to everyone that they are actually doing so. Well, this paper speculates with the necessary reforms needed for the judiciary currently being formulated about its effectiveness and Independence.
